On the afternoon of November 4, Xi Ru, Second-Class Inspector of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, and Xu Zhejing, Director of the Europe and Asia Division, led a delegation to visit our university for a special research tour on internationalization, focusing on Sino-foreign cooperative education and international student education in China.
Shu Peidong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, and Lan Jingjing, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, accompanied the research.

Xi Ru and her entourage, accompanied by President Chen Jiming and Vice President Li Wenjun, visited the premises of the **School of International Education** to learn about its history, educational philosophy and practices, and had cordial exchanges with international student representatives of our university.
The research group then visited the themed exhibition *"Seeing Digital Technology at HDU"* and held a symposium in the conference room on the first floor of the Administrative Building.
At the symposium, Vice President Li Wenjun gave a comprehensive introduction to the university’s overall development and the latest progress in international cooperation and exchanges.
Wang Yi’an, Dean of the **School of International Education**, delivered a special report entitled *"Building a Study-at-HDU Brand to Serve the Strategy of Developing a Strong Country in Education"*. He elaborated on the university’s education and management of international students in China and its achievements from multiple perspectives, including policy guidance, resource integration, brand building, digital empowerment and quality improvement.
Xi Ru spoke highly of the university’s achievements in cultivating high-level international students in China, international communication and serving local development. She expressed the hope that HDU would focus on its digital strengths, further improve talent cultivation and teaching management, serve regional opening-up, and strive to build a first-class international education brand. She also suggested that while cultivating international talents who understand China and are friendly to China, the university should make full use of its international student resources to conduct research on regional and country studies and trends in international student mobility, so as to provide support for national policy-making.

This survey not only reflects the Ministry of Education’s high attention to the education of international students in China at our university, but also points out the direction for further promoting the intensive development of international student education.
The university will take this survey as an opportunity to refine its educational characteristics, continuously improve the quality of education and its international influence, and fully advance the development of the **"Study at HDU"** brand.
