To stimulate the interest of international students in learning Chinese at our school and enhance their understanding of the Chinese language and culture, the first activity of the new semester of the Chinese Corner, co-organized by the International Education College and co-hosted by the School of Foreign Languages, was successfully held on the 5th floor of the library on March 26th.
The Chinese Corner was hosted by Teacher Wenqing and Moroccan student Weisha, and the atmosphere at the event was both interesting and lively. The theme of this activity was "relaxed and fun, learn Chinese, make new friends," aiming to provide a relaxed and enjoyable language exchange environment for students from China and abroad. During the activity, all students were randomly divided into five groups, with one Chinese student added to each group. They engaged in a series of Chinese language games, with each game completed earning corresponding points. The winning group was determined based on the total points. Through these interesting and challenging games, the international students gradually deepened their understanding of the Chinese language and further appreciated the profoundness of Chinese culture. Everyone actively participated in the process, the atmosphere was lively, laughter was continuous, which not only improved the Chinese language expression ability of international students but also promoted communication and understanding between Chinese and foreign students, enhancing their friendship. Teacher Wenqing awarded prizes to the students who won the language game competition.

Moroccan international student Wei Sha said, "I feel very happy to host activities like the Chinese Corner. Chinese is very interesting, and I have learned many new words. I hope the Chinese Corner this semester will be even better." Kazakhstani international student Muller said, "The Chinese Corner activity is very meaningful and has helped me a lot. I have passed the HSK Level 4, and I will continue to participate in the future."
In the future, the School of International Education will collaborate with the College of Foreign Languages to organize various Chinese Corner activities, allowing international students to strengthen their Chinese language learning in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and to experience the profoundness of Chinese culture. At the same time, through the platform of "Chinese Corner," promote exchanges and integration between China and the world, and help build an internationalized campus atmosphere.
